The University of South Carolina PRSSA District Conference 2023 will cover all-things travel and tourism public relations. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from speakers in the travel, tourism, and hospitality space about how public relations can be used around the globe!

Conference Schedule

The conference begins on Friday, February 24. From 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. we will welcome high school students to tour the UofSC School of Journalism and Mass Communications, learn from current public relations majors and journalism school students, and network with students, faculty, and staff. At 5:00 p.m. we will welcome conference attendees, local public relations professionals, and PRSA members for an opening reception with light refreshments and a presentation from PRSSA National Vice President of Member Experience, Lauren Casole.

All attendees welcomed and encouraged to attend Friday’s events! If you are a high school student looking to attend Friday and/or Saturday, contact Conference Co-Director Gracie Bryant at bryantga@email.sc.edu.

Conference check in will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25. Conference sessions will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch during. Download the full conference schedule for session titles and speakers below.
